Medical benefits and costs

Cost changes for certain benefits

Health care costs continue to rise nationally, so you will still see contribution rate increases. However, we always look for ways to offer quality benefits at the lower cost.

Below are some tips on how we can manage costs, both as employees and as a company:

As employees:As a company:

  • Manage chronic conditions

  • Control stress

  • Actively negotiate for the best prices, networks and coverage

  • Continue to look for ways to innovate

  • Tailor coverage to employee needs

  • Manage risk

  • Make cost-conscious decisions

  • Educate our employees on how to optimize plan utilization
